Goldwork Bumblebee by Chrissie Juno Mann

This regal jewel encrusted Bumblebee looks splendid with a large crystal for its thorax. The design combines padded goldwork, basketweave, chipping and pearl purl among others. You will learn a crowning technique for the jewel, along-side some creative stitch techniques, such as Ayrshire styled padded flowers. The combination of techniques and the choice of goldwork adds texture and depth, whilst the pretty flowers produce a delicate backdrop for the Bumblebee.
