Experimental Embroidery with 3D beading with Imogen Melissa

In this 2-day workshop, you’ll master the art of 3D beaded embroidery while creating your very own coral-inspired beaded hoop.

Your hoop will be filled with a colourful mix of hand-crafted sequins, beaded flowers, hand embroidery, shisha mirror work and 3D beading.

At the beginning of the workshop, you’ll choose your kit colour before getting started on your coral-inspired hoop. Imogen will guide you through all of the techniques used to create the example hoop, with all of the techniques taught by the end of the first day.

On the second day, you’ll continue developing your hoop, with plenty of creative freedom to curate your own design and make it completely your own. Imogen will be on hand throughout the day to offer guidance, advice and help whenever you need it.

If you don’t finish your hoop during the workshop, there’s absolutely no rush! You’ll be given video instructions showing you how to finish the back of your hoop at home, and all of your materials can be taken home with you.

This workshop is ideal for anyone looking to develop their skills in 3D beaded embroidery. It’s her most technique-heavy workshop yet, so even if you’ve attended an Imogen Melissa workshop before, there’ll be plenty of new techniques and skills to discover!
