Description
A Crewelwork kit which is the first in a series using images from the Archive of the RSN. This design is based on the original book cover of Royal School of Needlework Handbook of Embroidery (First published in 1880; re-published in 2010), illustrated by Selwyn Image.
The design size is approximately 12 cm x 15 cm, worked in Appleton's crewel wool on linen twill fabric. The kit comes complete with all materials and a clearly illustrated instruction booklet.
The kit has been designed exclusively for the RSN by Masako Newton. Masako is one of our Studio Embroiderers and is a member of the Worshipful Company of Broderers
