This project is aimed at stitchers who already have some experience of silk shading, or have perhaps already completed one of the other Wreath kits. It includes detailed instructions and photographs to take you through each stitch in clear, easy stages.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe stitches covered are: Starting and Finishing your thread; Split Stitch; French Knots; Wheat Ear Stitch; Stem Stitch; Detached Chain Stitch; Silk Shading; Padded Satin Stitch; Pistil Stitch and Trellis Stitch. There is also a clearly annotated Stitch Plan and a corresponding Colour Plan.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eIt is worked in a bright, contrasting colour palette of reds, blues, golds and greens which effectively conjure up a Summer cornfield. It would make a lovely picture to frame, or work equally well transferred to household linens such as tablecloths or napkins.
